The question you should be asking is; what if he did penetrate me and could I get pregnant? am I protected against STD's?

You didn't have sex. You only lose your virginity if you have sex. Simple as.

Intercourse is not the determining factor with regard to virginty.
Would you say that a girl who has given oral to 20 guys is still a virgin?
What about lesbians and homosexuals? If they have sex regularly and have never been with a member of the opposite sex would you consider them virgins?

She dated a few guys and did foreplay things, and once she and this guy were both naked and they were rubbing together, and he came, but he never entered her vagina. So we both consider her still a "not completely innocent" virgin when we met.
2 things. 1) I'm glad he had a condom on, that shows responsibility on both your parts. However, you are too young and I'm glad you realize it, to actually have sexual intercourse. 2) Save it for marriage, or at least a very special person you think you might want to spend your life with.

Just make sure when you do choose to have sex be careful!

You mean, his penis slid on your vulva but not in your vagina? If he didn't "go inside" in the slightest bit, you're still a virgin.
If he got inside at all, you aren't a virgin.
That said, I'm one of those who believes that you can't lose your virginity until you've had vaginal sex with a man. One's definition of virginity is important in determining whether or not someone is a virgin, of course.

A
