But recently I have been very tired, aching and some white quite thick sticky discharge. I have been told these are signs of pregnancy so I did a test and it came out negative. Should I wait till the 6 weeks is up or take it that I am not. I have my 21st in a couple of days and also don't know any excuses for not drinking if I am for my party. Any ideas?

You've had all the pregnancy spiel so I won't carry on with that. as for not drinking on your 21st... Antibiotics for a wisdom tooth infection... It's common at your age, not too gross and metronizadol is the antibiotic of choice, which used to be used to get alcoholics off the drink, as it makes you seriously ill if you take the drug and alcohol together. There is a great excuse which even a Doctor would believe.

Generally speaking you ovulate about 2 weeks before your period. So if you are on a normal cycle of 42 days, (rather than the more traditional 28 day cycle), that means that you ovulate and can become pregnant on or about day 28 until approxamately day 35. Of course ovulation is never 100% predictable and just because you usually ovulate on day 28 does not mean you cannot ovulate on day 14 like everyone else.
Your symptoms are extremely minor and not at all conclusive as to pregnancy. They could be pms, normal hormone fluctuations, the flu, or even all in your head because that is what you expect to see. Just last week I myself felt tired and achey, but it didnt have anything to do with pregnancy. I just was having a tired day, I guess. A thick, milky discharge is actually a sign of ovulation more than it is of pregnancy.
I think the chances of you being pregnant are extremely tiny. That said, the only way to know for sure is to get tested.

First off, do you want this pregnancy? If you do, get a medical exam to make sure that you are positive or negative. Make the visit asap.
Secondly, even if you did not want to get pregnant now, the sooner you know of the result, the better place you'll be to start thinking "what next".
Thirdly, get on birth control yourself and never say no to condoms for health reasons (unless, you are sure of your monogamous relationship and you plan to conceive)
Please keep safe!

i would just go to the doctors/ hospital and find out for sure, they'll probably know more about it.
also, its not worth risking drinking until you're completly sure bacause it could effect the baby if you are pregnant, i'm sure you could think of somthing to say to everyone
i hope this helps a bit
