Getting over someone can be incredibly difficult. You seem to be making an effort by having a boyfriend instead of pining over this guy day and night with no distractions.
But you have to make sure that your boyfriend knows that if he falls in love with you that you can't return the feeling. It's not fair to lead someone on. I'd say that to get over this guy, you'll have to distance yourself. Don't talk to him, don't text him, if your friends with him on facebook then hide him from your news feed.
Try to look around at other guys (I don't mean cheat on your boyfriend, but light flirting and just thinking about what guys you would do or something like that will help you forget him). Listen to a bunch of songs about being single or getting over someone to lift your spirits. Avoid songs that remind you of any hurt he caused you.
If he's ignoring you then there obviously is no point in trying to persue him. It's his loss for not at least being a friend and you can do SO much better than anyone who doesn't treat you right.
good luck
