So when he got up to leave I plucked up the courage to go after him and ask for his number - he gave it to me, we were exchanging texts for a couple of days, getting on really well, and the last one he sent me read "You too gorgeous, let's get drinks this week." But since then five days have gone by - it's now thursday and the week is almost over. Should I wait any longer for him to contact me or is he not interested? I understand that because he's in his 20's, things are a little different, he's not neccesarily going to be glued to his phone all day long like some people my age, but I would have thought 5 days is too long not to text someone you like?!Or should I start up a conversation with him?I'm so confused!Ps. the answer may be really obvious, I'm just no good at this whole dating thing after being in a relationship for 4 years! So any help would be great. Thanks :).

Did you reply to his last text? If you didn't, he may have thought you weren't interested.
