If you get sick and vomit or have a runny tummy or take antibiotics these all affect the pill and you should then take precautions????
If you are in doubt, please contact your dr and ask him/her to explain to you exactly how the pill works and its effectiveness.

Actually the last time my wife was on the pill the Doctor said that we should wait a month before having unprotected sex to make sure that it was fully working. Of course that was about 10 years ago so I'm sure the pill is better now.You should pose that question to the doctor who wrote you the prescription, just call their office, I'm sure that's information they'll give over the phone.
