Should I still put this vibrator in the pack I'm making up for him?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *mjo writes:

I ordered a vibrator to go into a pack I'm making up for my boyfriend for valentines day that includes various lubes etc. however now the vibrator has arrived I'm worried it's too big and may intimidate my partner.

The reason I chose this one was because it was waterproof and could be used in the shower. We currently dont use sex toys but in the pack I already have a small vibrator... only 4" or so which I think He'll be fine with however this one is about 7" and although its a similar size to his piece I'm worried he may think i'm trying to replace him?

I thought we could use them together, like rubbing them against him as well however I'm not sure he will see it that way?

I thought about just keeping it here for myself but I think that would be much worse and much less fun...

What should I do, should I give it to him? or not? and if not what do i do with it....??? EEEEK!

A reader, anonymous, writes (2 February 2010):

I don't know about him, but I wouldn't be bothered by the size unless I was smaller than average. If he is anywhere near 7 inch he is well above average, at least in length. If my wife would like a vibrator that is bigger than me, I would use it on her without worrying, as long as she didn't want it all the time instead of me. Actually, we did use one bigger than me a few times in the past and I was happy that she liked it, but sometimes it was a bit uncomfortable for her, so we stopped using it. If I were much smaller than average then it would probably bother me. Your boyfriend is bigger than me, so I doubt it will bother him.

Sex can be funny. If you're worried just be honest- tell him it looked smaller on the internet and you didn't want him to freak out... but hey, its here now...

He would have to be very insecure about it. I suggest you just carry on as you are now. He seems okay with the other vibrator
