This guy i like wants me to ring him tonight, but we are only going to be casual with each other, not in a proper relationship, so i'm wondering whether to ring him tonight, or leave it until another night ?. I just dont want to seem too eager, or seem like i am at his beck and call. But at the same time, i dont want to seem like i'm not interested. Reply to this Question Share |

The points you lose for seeming "eager" will be far outweighed by the points you win for not flaking on him. You have to give him hope of success before "hard to get" can do any good for you, otherwise he will just think you're not interested at all.

If he asked you to this time, then ring. The trick is to make sure it's not a recurrence. So if he then continues to ask you to always ring at this particular time, then start playing hard to get more, and watch how he acts.
But don't play too hard to get straight away.

Ring him, then halfway through the conversation, tell him that your friend has turned up and hang up. He'll be chomping at the bit!!!
