Should I pursue him or is he a waste of time?

am aged 20 years now at university in Uganda in my second year remaining with a year to complete ma course. i ve been in love with this "man" since 2006 thus making it to 3 years now. He loves n and cares about me dat i dont luck if i tel him wat i need him . this has made loved him more that i cant allow any other boy to love me.But i have developed a fear that if i dont get some one now by misssing al ma chances,wl i get married to this man or am wasting time on him? please am streesed i need ur advice now.thanx
