me and my female friend know we like each other but none of us are doing anything about it because we know that in the long run it would never work out because we are both from very different asian cultures so if we did get together it would cause complications on both sides i.e. our parents would disagree etc. the problem is i'm so confused about what to do with her since we are not seeing anybody else but we also aren't dating per se so although we get along great and everyone thinks we're a couple.i was thinking should i just try and ignore her and move on and date other women

Grow up!! Don't ignore her, it's not her fault, or yours for that matter. If you can't be anything more than friends, then be friends and look for a more suitable partner elsewhere.

It would be sad to just ignore her, since she could be a great friend. But it would be a good idea to meet other women at least.
