writes:I'm pretty much best friends with my boyfriend. We've been "best friends" for more than a year, but we've only been going out for 3 monthes. I really trust him and love him, but i'm not sure if we'll have a future since I'm going off to college in the fall and he'll still be in highschool. He asked me about sex, and i'm not completely sure if it's worth it. because viriginity is a big deal and i don't want to give it to someone whom i JUST love. If i have sex with him, then i feel like we should stay TOGEHTER during college and if we could do that, then we can have sex when we're in college. So i guess my question is are college relationships really hard, especially with one of your closest friends, and also, if you were in my situation would you give your viriginity to him? Thanks!

 If I were you I would totally do it, think like this; You wan't to lose your virginity to someone you like, not just a one night stand, and you are both going to college.. witch means that you should be ready to have sex.. so what is stopping you, you could regret it for the rest of your life if you don't do it.. You are young and should right now live for today.. and who knows, perhaps in college you will lose it with someone who doesn't take a place in your heart at all.. you know, perhaps when you are drunk, or just desperate... but what my advice is, think it through.. You seem to love this person, would not that be nice to have a memory like that? Even if you won't have a future, live for today... and your love will be precious and properly last for a very long time even if you don't see each other in college.. it is very special. I would do it!

 If you aren't sure then don't do it. I think it is refreshing to see teens who actually thinks about it.
You don't sound like you are really ready for sex. And honey, that is ok.
With that being said. I'm glad I had my first time with a guy I had know for a long time, that was someone I trusted, loved and cared for.
