Do not under any circumstances go and pay for sex, especially to lose your virginity.
What sort of reputation do you think you give yourself too by doing such a thing. Women are more likely to avoid you.

The other thing to consider is that your friends "say" they've done it. While it may be true but it may not be either, and could be a way of tricking you into doing it yourself and then they'll tell everyone.

 Yeah, repetitive's got a huge point. What's worse, telling a girl that you're a virgin, or telling her you hired a backroom prostitute to break in?
It's more your "buddies" who pick on you for your virginity. The girl you become interested in won't have a problem at all with it, and will likely bond with you closer because of it (especially if she is also one!).
Also, if you get a disease, that'll most likely shut down your sex life, your ability to be a dad later in life, and be a much more embarrassing story than simply being a virgin.
Not being a manwhore is a GOOD thing buddy! Don't worry, you'll lose your virginity soon! But do it the right way, and it won't just be a one time impersonal romp. And, if it's with the girl you love, it'll be the first of LOTS of sex. :)

You are going to have to go to a brothel for that kind of thing.
Of course you cannot do so legally in the U.S.
In Oz, we have many legal and registered brothels. All have to be registered and rigidly controlled, the women and men there tested constantly for STD's.
This makes it quite expensive and so we still have underground brothels and sex workers, but they are not protected by government. Whereas the legal ones will have no problems with compensation and legal representation if a customer decides to take it all way too far.
Trust me, its much more trouble than its worth.

reader, anonymous, writes (17 November 2010): okay , I'm 18 , too and trust me , you WILL get more respect from everyone . if you have sex now , you risk getting STD's or worse ( getting them pregnant , etc. ) . some STDs can even kill you , if not ruin the rest of you life , cuz I mean if you told a girl you had an STD cuz you wanted to get rid of your virginity , what do you think she would say ? she wouldn't want to do it with you as badly .

 You could go to a strip club and ask a stripper if they'll have sex with you..but let me tell you it will be for a hefty price and you'll have to wait till they get off of work...Your asking them to prostitute themselves, so I'm sure you're going to get a lot of resounding no's. They don't have a room in the back where you can get extra special attention. Mainly it's just for private lap dances. So that leaves you to find an illegal prostitute that may have some STDs she's not going to own up to, again you're going to really pay for her services.
Really it'a much more worth it to hold out and find the one you love..then that's the time to lose your virginity.

Going to a strip club or paying for sex is extremely risky! There's nothing in the man's handbook that says that herpes or worse is part of the manhood rite of passage! It also won't help in the event of finding someone you care for because not only will she be much different, but you won't learn truly how to please a woman.
What's worse, a woman who screams because of your money, or one who gives herself to you because she loves everything about you?
Have patience! You will lose it. And it will be 100x better than if you paid someone to "get it over with".

It's better to share it with someone who understands you, accepts you and loves love.
To be perfectly honest and blunt; it's hard for a guy to 'hold off' the first time - perfectly normal - BUT - would you rather do that in front of a sex worker or someone who will say "That's okay, I loved being with you and I can't wait 'til we do it again!!!" Sex gets good with practice and we all learn skills. Sharing this experience with someone you love is a bonding experience as well. You will never regret doing it with someone that you love - but you might regret giving your first time away to an anonymous stranger. Just my opinion.
