Should I go out with a flirt?

Question - (19 June 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 19 June 2010)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

So, my good friend was dating this guy, but they broke up because his feelings changed for her. I fell for him while they were still dating, and when they broke up, I was pretty excited. I found out that he likes me more than a friend, but my good friend who recently dated him, still likes him alot. So we decided, that we should wait, and if we still like eachother, then we'll date. I love him a ton, and he's just about the sweetest guy I know. But, there was another reason I wanted to wait to go out. In the past, he's flirted with a lot of other girls while dating someone, and he even flirted with me when he was dating my friend. Im afraid he'll flirt, and I wont know to trust him or not. Any advice? Should we go out, even though she still likes him, and even though he might flirt? /:

pancakes rule agony auntI think you should go out, it could be the start of something wonderful.

If he flirts too much while you're going out, confront him about it.

If it's too much then you can always break up with him, but if he really likes you then he should respect you and stop flirting with other girls.

I say, give him a chance.

good luck
