My question may not have any relevance to love... But ill give it a try,

back in 2007 i did my matric but i failed so i didnt graduate from high school,i was gonna study neurology, since i had a grade 10 certificate i could go to college and opted to study radiobroadcasting, whilst studying i developed this keen interest in DJIng and kinda persuaded that too,

my REAL question however, is... The past 3days i went to a DJING scratch course at the local university and today (the last day) i suddenly had an epiphany! Ive been missing out on alot, because i didnt try harder in school and i messed 4years doing something i dont have any interest in (radiobroadcasting), i felt guilty, and sad because being a doctor is what i wanna do.

What do i do now? Should i go back to the books and graduate and then maybe go to university in 2011?

I am an MD. If you really have to be a healer and will let nothing stop you, then ok. Having said that, most of us feel trapped by the USA government. The independent doctor is just about gone. If you had not noticed Mr. President O wants to dictate to every business how business should run. He is a Marxist. I lost my Job to being paid less than other specialists because I was independent and highly specialized. I could not keep an Office open at Medicare/Medicaid prices 4.615 times less than the other specialists. Yet I took care of the most injured patients. They had lost their health ins. due to the injuries.

You really have to want to do this. You are finger-printed just because you are a physician. You are more responsible than the average person. Oh, yes you can be sued just because. Your chart is more important than the patient. Hippa is not privacy... you and your government and the internet has your medical records. But it is marked confidential (or there can be a $50,000.00 fine). The AMA Code book allows you how much time for the problem. The codes change every year. New book every year ($200.00) or a $50,000.00 fine if an inspector finds out you do not have it. Wrong code? No Problem $50,000.00 fine for you and another one for your biller. DO YOU WANT TO DO THIS? If you have to be a Doctor than DO NOT LET ANY THING STAND IN YOUR WAY. Do it!!!!!!!

Starlights agony auntYou've answered your own question. If you feel you spent time doing something your heart is not into then start again, its never too late. Go back to University and study if you have the opportunity to do so.

There is nothing worse than waking up to a job you dont want to do, so go with your dreams and be a Doctor.

Everyone messes up with exams at some point but the trick is never to give up.

Good luck!

GrimmReality agony auntHell yes by all means go back to school.

It took me 10 years to figure out what I wanted to do. That was a bachelor's and two masters degrees ago!

Believe me, it will be well worth it.

If you really want to do it then go and do it. You are never too old to go back. I totally screwed up my education as a teenager and at 29 years old decided to go back, I am now in my final year at university. I have loved every minute so far, and am doing better than i ever would have when i was a younger. To go back at an older age makes you more determined and take it more seriously you have so much more experience and enthusiasm to put into your studies. So many people go directly from school because they think it is what they are supposed to do rather than because thay are really passionate about a subject. Good Luck x

Yes! If you want to be a doctor, go for it!. You're still young, so can have time to make a good positive change in your life. If you don't, you'll regret it for ever. Go back to the books, study hard a be a doctor! Go for it.
