 Yes talk to him but if youre seeking a relationship ill advise from personal experience not to start it online and from a wee distance.

yeh get talking to him. theres no harm in that.
and if that leads onto him asking you out or you asking him out then you should talk to your freind. just tell her the truth and how you feel.
and if she never went out with him then he probably wasnt interested in her.

 well just think about your friend if they really liked him then she might of wanted to keep him to herself, but i think you should talk to him and maybe meet up with him. if you still are in contact with your friend tell her and tell her you think she liked him have a chat with her first and ask her about him then if you are still happy go and see him. then see how it goes :)
