writes: hi therei am new to this and i have a question about my life choices, i am 18 an im not very good at school work as you can tell of my spelling so as you can quess my GCSE's were not that good.i lov horses so i went with this collage where i work for training. and i have been at this work place for almost 3 years now, an i'v been put on to part time, without my collage knowing witch is wrong. and i just havent turned up for work and now im not shur if i want to go back.im also very ill with my gull bladder, i have gull bladder stones witch is rear on some 1 my age but it still happens. so now im on pain killers and thats stopping my work at the moment.o you think i should go back, or look for a new job? please help i dont know what to do... You say you aren't sure if you want to go back to this job, but you really love it regardless? 3 years is a long time to invest in a job, especially on being lucky enough to find one that you enjoy!
For one thing, I know it's difficult, but it would be worth it for you to at least tell your employers that you won't be coming back as they A) can withhold any wages you are owed (due to job abandonment) and B)at least you'll be able to account for the 3 years you've already spent there and get some references!
If you really are unhappy enough to quit this job, then I'd suggest trying for something else, though in this job climate, might be more difficult than you realise.

wooo, phone your employers and explain to them that you were unable to show up for work because you were sick. Apologise. Because you havent been there for so long your job may no longer exist. They may feel that you are not reliable.
YOu need to decide what you want to do with your life, see if there is a guidance counsellor attached to the college, otherwise ask at your local social security if they are able to refer you to one
