Should I ever forgive my insulting, cheating bf?

A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend cheated on me for 3 months with a girl who is:

ugly

a bully

selfish

completely self-centered

and then said he didn't so I just let it be because she could have been lying...

Today i find out he is cheating on me with 4 of his exes. We are all in the same college today he called me a:

fathead

bitch

crap head

he also told me to shutup...

Should I ever forgive him??

the answer to this question is both yes and no. this guy has treated you in a way that no one deserves to be treated. you deserve better than this.

i know break ups are hard but i would think that is whats best for you at this point. if you stay with him i can see this happening all over again and you will just get your heart broken again.

forgive him enough to move past this and not end up bitter from this experience. but do not fofrgive him enough to give him the power to ever hurt you like this again.

i could be wrong though. maybe he is really sorry for what he did and is siincirely telling you that it will never happen again. if not let him go love.
