Should I end this before I do something bad...or should I stick it out?

A female United States age 30-35, *enmaso writes:

My boyfriend thinks the world of me. He cries when he talks about how much he loves me, and there is no doubt in my mind that I love him too. We finish eachother's sentences and take the words from eachother's mouths.

It feels as though we've reached the strongest point in our relationship, and yet I can't help but feel like there is something missing. We haven't had sex for about about almost 3 months, and no, I'm not content with cuddling. He gets really weird when I try and talk to him about it, and I understand his reasons why...I don't want to end something great...but I'm scared that I might not remain as faithful as I currently am.

He has good reason for not wanting to have sex with me, we thought that I was pregnant, but the test ended up lying. So I can hardly blame him for wanting to cool off...but it's getting to the point where I'm not even attracted to him that way...

Should I end this before I do something bad...or should I stick it out?

Dear Poster

I have empathy with you and your frustration but there is only one solution: COMMUNICATION

You need to communicate your feelings, your needs, wants and desires to him; listen to his fears and objections and try and find a mutually acceptable SOLUTION.

If you cannot find a solution that will solve this problem you will have to weigh up your options as to if your love for him is strong enough to continue like this or you must move on and find somebody that cares enough for you to keep you happy and satisfied. BUT cheating is not an option.

Herewith a link with lots of contraception options, maybe you can discuss some of these with him and use more then one; that might help to make him ease a little.

TALK to him.

LazyGuy agony auntSounds like somebody needs to get a vibrator and let of some steam.

You could also use contraceptives, with the pill and a condom with spermacides the changes of getting pregnant are extremely rare.

Neither does being intimate have to mean intercourse but it would still get both of you what you need.

His reasons for not having sex suck, use protection.

But your own logic "not getting any, so going to cheat" doesn't exactly shout out 'true love' to me. What would happen if he was in hospital for a while? Send away for some reason? Go to a sex store and buy some supplies for the both of you.

pepper27 agony auntHi Hunny

Are you not on any contraception, As if you were and he used a comdom then than cuts the chances of pregnancy...If on the other hand you are, Are you taking the right one for you love i'll pop a link in just incase then get on to how you can try and sort this problem...

http://www2.netdoctor.co.uk/sex_relationships/facts/contraception_which.htm..

I was on the wrong pill for along time love and kept getting scares that was many moons ago now...

First there is more than just sex for the both of you to be satisfied sexually more than just a cuddle indeed, Does he not want to touch you at all hunny? With all the contracteption out there also you can make this very safe for both of you this he needs to know.

I can understand 100% why your feeling this way as its not natural to have a loving partner and them not want to make love with you it can and will make you feel crap, You need to sit him down, Glue him down if you have to hunny if he loves you that much as you post says he should be more than willing to listen to your worrys and concerns..Tell him he has to listen to you as your partner or your just going to have to walk away for awhile as you just dont no what to do anymore, I no that sounds harsh but its not as harsh as cheating is it, You have to be able to talk comunication is the key he has to understand this..He can love you from the sea to the sky but if he cant talk to you when your deeply unhappy about something in your relationship what is the point..Sweetheart GLUE HIM TO THE CHAIR!!!!!He needs to know how you feel or you will get fed up and he will be very sorry he didnt listen...I do hope things work out for you WITH LOTS OF LOVE N HUGS MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi there.

Feel like im in a similar situation to you. I love my boyf so much, and everything he does is to make me happy. However, recently i have totally lost my sex drive, and little things he does make me frustrated (when these things shouldn't even matter). I wonder if sometimes things are just not ment to be no matter how perfect it seems? What do you think?
