writes: soooo Ive missed my period and is prob about 5 weeks pregnant,and took a pregnacy test but its was a cheap one around about £3.It came out negative,but to make it postivie,there had to be a line in the cirle and a line the the square,but I got a line in the circle and a then like a little bit of red line that looked like it was going to turn into a red line but never did.am i pregnant,shall i do another test.please someone help.

Yeah i'd wait another week and take one. Clearblue are the best ones and the most accurate but they dont come too cheap. You could even go to your GP or family planning clinic and get tested for free if your worrying about the money! I hope you get the answer your looking for!

If any thing appears in the 'pregnant' box then it probably means you're pregnant. That's the box that detects the pregnancy hormone so something will only show up if there is hormones present.
I had a blob and half a line before I got my first proper line ;)
Get another one and do it again, but I'd day you were pregnant.

Yes, take another test in about a week. If the other line is almost showing up but not quite, your body might not be producing enough of the hormone that the tests detect. So if you are pregnant, then giving it another week, your body will probably be producing more of the hormone for the test to detect.
