Should I date 'Luke'? Even though he's in a relationship with 'Lindsay'?

I need help. Im very confused and don't know what to do. Theres this boy, we'll call him "Luke". He currently has a gf (we'll call her "Lindsey"). "Lindsey" moved to Florida with her family (we live in new york) so her and "Luke" kinda have a long distance thing going on. Well "Luke" is gonna break up with her (or so he says but i really think he will). Anyway, ive known both of them for a little over a year. I met them both via my ex bf(we'll call him "Mikey"). "Mikey" and "Luke"are pretty good friends. Before dating "Luke", "Lindsey" dated "Mike"..then broke up and started dating "Luke". Annnywayy, Ive liked Luke for a while now and I know he likes me. There's a possibility of Luke and I dating but im not sure if its a great idea to date him! I dont wanna get labeled as a homewrecker or anything but I wanna date who makes me happy and live for other people. I know its a lot to read, but I really appreciate it. So, any advice as to what I should do?? Thanks!:)
