A female United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

I am 41 my boyfriend of 8 months is 27. I am married (partially seperated). I recently got an apartment with for my boyfriend and I.

We seemed to be getting along great, then his friends started coming around. I noticed a change in him. One night we went out and came back early I caught one of his friends in our bed with a girl, and one in the living room. He told me he let them "kick it" but did not know they were going to have sex in there.

This past Saturday, I went there late in the evening, the top lock was locked the house was dark. I called the police when I could not get in but heard movement. It was my boyfriend and his friend with women in the house. I found an earing, bra and condom in my room. He claimed in front of the police and the girl nothing happened with him it was his friend. The girl knew I was married, they both taunted me that I did not live there, it was his house, he could have who he wanted there.

He was soo angry. We stayed there that night, argued, and fought. His mom came the next day, blessed the house, told him a piece of her mind. He left later that day, and came at 4 in the morning appologizing about what happened.

He was drunk. We argued and fought more, then fell asleep. We made love the next morning, he said he was sorry, we had a long talk, all day actually. He told me it bothers him that I am married and leave him there every night alone. He said he got into it but now did not want to get used to that.

He met someone that was like him and that the girl i caught him with wasnt the same one. I read text messages he made to the girl, appoligizing about "last night" saying he wanted to see her, his feelings were real.

He said he was just saying that to get a response, which he claimed he did not. I asked what he wanted to do from this point. continue with her, or fix things with us. He said he wanted to work things out with us, and he was going to tell her that. Should I believe him?

You are being used I think. You should dump this guy. He sounds very very immature.

Well I am still here being the fool I guess. Last night i went out with an old friends, had some drinks and just let myself have a good time. I needed it. Little man said he was going to visit his mom, which never happened. He came in early last night. Telling me how sorry he was about everything and that he was going to do whatever it took to make it right. I had no comment. I just told him that it was going to take a lot and at this point I just did not trust him. Oh and before I went out I suggested to him that he call the girl and try to patch things up, that perhaps they should try to be together, since he had soo many mixed feelings about her. He said he did not have any interest like that in her anymore, that it was merely conversation initially. He looked pitiful. I took the keys so he had to knock to get in. I told him he would have to call to get in, cause i would be out as well.

This incident happened on Sunday Morning. Today is Tuesday. I decided to try and trust him again. Started today with our regular routine. In our argument and fighting, I broke his phone(I bought it, and paid the bill). when i saw text messages to the other woman in there, he even texted her on Sunday appologizing for the night before. Today he did not call me at all, and he used my car. I gave him money to purchase a new phone which he has not done yet, and I have not heard from him at all. In my heart I feel I should just dump him, but I cant help feeling like he is going to realize I am still his, and even though I go home at night, I am not going back to my husband. I think he believes he is wasting his time, and that i am eventually going to leave him.

I have been seperated from my husband for about a year now. We share the house because it was an investment. We however have been living seperate lives for quite some time, so telling him "what a naughty girl i have been" would not make any difference. Its not a topic of discussion for us any longer.

As for this guy, I have seen him through quite a bit over the time we have been together. It has not been all bad. I guess I just dd not see this coming. I have been there for him through all of his deliminas, and he through mine. I thought we had developed an open understanding of each of our lives and were grateful to have found each other. Except he lied about his feelings obviously. I did not.

I guess he was using me then. I was his tiger "is that what they call us?

I'm dating an older woman, and I know for sure I'd never treat her this way, and that if I even dared to, I'd be dumped on the spot. He seems to be having a little bit too much fun for a guy who's supposed to be committed to you. I would suggest unless he really cleans his act up, you get rid of him. There are better guys out there who will really adore you.
