No. There are laws which stop teachers having sexual or intimate relationships with any one under the age 18. Are you sure you love him, because if you love him you would stay away from him, because of his feelings towards his job.
This is probably a crush and if you asked him out imagine the humiliation you would suffer if he said no.

For child protection reasons, if he is a school teacher he would be prevented from dating you and could lose his job. Even in further education with older students, it tends to be a disciplinary matter because they cannot be objective about your assessments etc. You don't love him; you have a massive crush on the man. It is perfectly normal and most people think fondly of at least one teacher. But it is not good to ask him out - really embarrassing for him, really embarrassing for you afterwards and not the best way to improve your IT grades!

Answer me this, how old are you my dear? By the sounds of it, you are too young and it is not a good idea to ask out your teacher, it is really not a wise choice. It is not professional for teachers to date students, its just not acceptable, I mean if you were 24 or something and at university and you met a lecturer who was 28, providing he wasnt your personal tutor that would perhaps be ok, but you seem to young for me, just reading your post, so please DONT ASK HIM OUT. xXx
