We broke up about a year ago because he got back with his ex that didnt last long and he realised it was me he wanted. But now he says im smothering him, we almost live together and now he wants several nights a week apart. Hes goen really distant and unloving, I cant remember the last time ha said i love you? I dont think hes cheating on me because he love me too much, i try to talk to him and he just starts yelling saying im nagging him. I dont know what to do??

He seems to have something on his mind and it maybe that is nothing to do with your relationship. I think you do need to get to the bottom of this but you obviously cant try the direct approach, so give him the space but make sure the time you spend together is special and relaxing. Its possible he just feels the need for his own space in the relationship.
If that is so then the worst thing you can do, but also the most natural response, is to push him harder. Make your evenings together romantic, relaxing and do things you both enjoy, if you feel the mood is right maybe gently ask him if everything is ok. Hope that helps.
