Should I ask my boyfriend for a break (so I can pursue another guy)?

A female Spain age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I am 21 and have been in a happy, loving relationship for 3 years but recently moved to Spain to study for a year. Before I moved away I realised that the spark in my relationship had started to fade and I felt less attracted to my boyfriend than before, but i ignored these feelings as I still loved him and couldn't bear the thought of breaking up.

However, since moving away these feelings have resurfaced and, to make matters worse I've become attracted to someone else over here.

Should I suggest taking a break from our relationship to allow me to get this out of my system, or will this mean I'll lose him forever?

You can't just take a break to go out with someone else. If you want this other guy, compeltely end it with your boyfriend. Don't be cruel to him by stringing him along while you have all your fun. Decide who you want, and dump the other.
