reader, anonymous, writes (15 November 2009): Please, please tell him it's over. His feelings are secondary to yours. If you don't, you will end up in a very unhappy place, sacrificing your peace of mind and sense of self just because you don't want to hurt his feelings.

then he obviously knows whats about to come. If you are unhappy in this relationship honey then there really is no point in being in it. Its nice that you are repecting his feelings however by doing this you are hurting yourself, and its not worth it. Just end it now or you'll regret it even more.
