Every woman who responds to this is going to say "No it's not normal!" and every guy is going to say "yes it is!"
I am willing to bet my life that the vast MAJORITY of men, are going to want to date a younger girl, and that 19-25 age range is the ideal. I don't know about the pregnancy part though - you mean just for the sake of getting someone pregnant? I don't see that as normal, but for some guys the idea of getting a young girl pregnant is one of those tightly wrapped fantasies nobody is going to admit to.
I'd tread carefully on the pregnancy part. But wanting to date a younger , heck yes its normal! I'd cut off my left ear to find a partner 20 years my junior!

He may just be wanting to prove to himself he is still attractive, and could be going through a mid life crisis.

Yes, it's normal. Depending on the circumstances, the pregnant part may be a bit weird but within the boundaries of evolutionary logic.
Whether or not it's ethical is another question. And just because it's growned upon by society doesn't make it unethical.

She's a feeling, thinking person not a sperm depository snd a baby machine. That's unfair, controlling and very co-ercive and wrong. You like power over someone younger and you are a manipulative, sick man. It sounds like you want a young woman "under your thumb". Get to counselling.
