Question - (18 March 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 18 March 2007)
A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Over summer I was introduced to my friend's boyfriend, at the end of summer they broke up and we had been talking on and off since summer. A couple of weeks ago he came on msn and got me to do one of those crush tests that sends the answers to the person who got you to do it and well his name made the list and I can't deny it I do like him. He gave me his number so we could text back and forth.

After a full day of that he wanted to get together to go see a movie and hang out which I agreed to because I wanted to hang out as well. The day we were going to hang out my friend (his ex) found out and totally bitched me out because she still is in love with him even though it has been like almost a year and she hasn't made hardly any attempt to keep in touch with him, we have hardly talked since then and well I don't live in the same place as her or anything but she has spread some horrible rumors around about me and him and things really suck. Now I still really like him but I think he totally hates me because of what happened. What does this mean for me and him? What should I do?

AskEve agony auntWhy do you think he hates you for what happened? Has he said as much? Let him know that you did nothing wrong and the lies your friend has been spreading around is exactly that... lies!
