This is just me and when I meet people I talk and have fun, but my stoicism offsets others by telling my girlfriend, "Oh is he OK, Is he having fun?" My girlfriend wants me to put an effort into showing when I am having fun, but I do have fun and I am just not always going to exhibit it. She wants me to change. Any advice? You do not have to change for anyone, even your girlfriend. My advice is to talk to your girlfriend, let her know and maybe occasionally laugh along to show you're havng fun. This is not necessarily changing for her, but just letting her know that she is wrong and you are enjoying yourself. Talk to her and tell her that you just don't show emotion as much as others do. If she still expects you to change, she's not really worth it as she should love you as you are.Good Luck :-)
