A male , *lchemist writes:

How do i win the affections of a young lady, that i have known for a while? Last year we flirted, and got really close, she has even told a mutual friend that she likes me, a lot.Yet she says that she only wants to be friends. I have strong feelings for her, and keep sending flowers, gifts etc. She knows how i feel about her, yet keeps her distance, for the majority of the time.

She is single, and my relationship has all but finished, any advice?

Hi !x!T!x!

thanks for the advice--- but that is all well and good, except that she doesn't even want to go out in a group even!

She says that we could go out for dinner, but never commits to a time!!

!x!T!x! agony auntcool it down for a while and then see how she reacts...why not invite her out along with you and a group of friends to do something fun play it cool and try and read the situation dont get too heavy or you'll scare her off....if its definetly just friends she wants to be then isnt that better than a poke in the eye, if you cant handle that then your better steering clear or you'll just end up getting hurt. i wish you all the best ..hope this works out for you !!!
