I told her that I didn't mind. As she was sleeping or at least she appeared to be, I kissed her on her forehead. It wasn't anything creepy while she was sleeping. After I did that she snuggled up closer to me and began to smile. Does she like me? Was it a mere coincidence she smiled and snuggled up? What do I do? I really like this girl. Going out at that age feels stiff and awkward. Well that's just my experience anyway. At that age I'd be too embarrassed to go on a "date". I much more preferred something less scary, which is why I think you shouldn't ask her out on a date, but rather ask her to do something low scale. Like a movie at home. Or go for a walk. Or do homework together. If you ask her out on an official date I think you'll scare her away.

Yepp, green light. Ask her to come over and watch a movie with you, then snuggle up under a blanket and just hang out. See what happens next.
