writes:There's a girl who I like, except I don't think she feels comfortable around me. Like whenever I try to talk to her she avoids eye contact and looks for other people to "save" her. Also today in my youth group we were doing the "knot game" where people hold hands to get in a knot then untagle themselves, and I made a move to grab her hand but she took it away :(.I really need some help because I really like her but she seems really put-off by me, how can I get close to her without her trying to get away?  maybe she's just shy.it could be that she likes you but it could be the opposite too.just try your best to be her friend first.dont make big moves now or anytime soon.just try to get her trust.make her first like you as a friend just make sure she doesnt like you as a brother.make her want to call you.then slowly one day tell her how you feel(alone).hopefully itll work out.best of luck!!!!!

 i bet shes just shy. a few years ago i was just like that, try to get her alone, like away from her friends. dont say you like her just be like "hey how you doin?" you dont want to scare her off.
