writes:I was with this girl for 16 months, and had just returned from a month long trip to china, and back into her arms, i slept over at her place for the next week, we fought a lot but no more than usual, we have a fight the day after i get back to my place, she asks me to meet her at maccas, and the next thing i know she's telling me that she loves me but can't be with me, in all honesty, looking into my eyes. At least if she no longer loved me it would make her easier to hate. Its 3 weeks later, and i cant get her out of my head. I got one last kiss before she left as well, at first i said if she liked it she would have to stay, but she said that was unfair. obviously this girl still has/ had feelings for me... what could have gone wrong? although she did say being with me hurt her too much.  You were gone for a month. The two of you fought when you came back. And then she told you she loves you but can't be with you.
Sounds to me like she had some peace and quiet while you were gone and decided that she just doesn't want to deal with all this fighting anymore.
