writes: I'm currently not home, employed by the military outsidethe US, I was speaking to my girlfriend earlier today (well practically yesterday) and she told me simply that this fu**** did her, I argued why the hell she let him etc... she gave me reasons, that seemed clearly made up, just heart-broken, told her it's over, but I don't wanna end up pissed at the start of 2010, anyone can tip me how to cheer up?

Dump her and move on. She is clearly not cut out for the military "lifestyle". If she can not even stay faithful while you are deployed she isn't worth it.
How to cheer yourself up? By living your life well. Having your heart broken doesn't just disappear with a snap of your fingers (unfortunately). But be glad you know now what kind of girl she is instead of years down the line.

A warm blanket, a good book, and your favorite hard candy.
It's kind of girly, but those things help when I go into subdrop and you're not much better off right now.
