We had been dating for a few weeks when an ex (who more or less pushed her to me) who had been gone all summer called out of the blue and said "he'd been thinking about them." Now she's saying she might still have feelings for him and didn't want to be with me for the wrong reasons. So I'm allowing her some time to figure things out, but I've since realized how miserable I'd be if she chose him over me. Whatever am I to do?

Hi
There isnt a lot you can do. And you wouldnt want her to choose you just for your benefit would you. Thats just recipe for disaster.
If someone said to me they didnt know who they wanted out of me & someone else i would make the choice for them & go find someone else. But thats me, i have a lot of self respect.
You're doing the best & only thing for what you want out of it. Giving her some space.
Good luck.
