writes:i like this girl in my class. I've seen her looking at me across the room and she's been hugging me more, i have no idea if she likes me for real or if she's just being friendly.  Take a look at her ex boyfriends. if there bad lads then you need to take a different approach to the one about. however if she tends to go out with nicer, more emotionally in touch guys then take the approach above.complimenting girls is a minefield of dos and donts. if a girl is hot and she knows she is hot you need to not compliment her looks and compliment her personality. instead of complimenting her looks try to take the mick out her looks in a cheeky way.for eg. your nose wiggles when you laugh, take a piece of fluff from your jumper and hide it between your fingers and say she has some fluff in her hair and take it out.lick your finger and wipe her cheek and say she had a bit of make up there. this makes you the alpha dominant male that young girls just cant resist

Whether its in a romantic way or a brotherly way, I'm not sure.
If you like her so much you should just ask her as you'd probably regret it if you never got the chance to.

How about, the next time she hugs you, say something like "I love your hugs" or "I like it when we hug"... and see how she responds. Also, compliment her. When you hug someone you get pretty close to them so you could say "you smell nice" or "your hair is pretty". She'll love you for that, and at least if it turns out she doesn't like you that way, you will probably still get more hugs!
