It's a possibility. But it could also be that she really is about to get her period. Some girls experience discharge and cramps that are not so bad before they come on. Female hygiene all together is a job. Go to the aisle in the grocery store, do you see all the products we use just to keep it fresh down there. She could've been just freshening up.

You don't need to have an STI infection to get uncomfortable and need to pee a lot. You get it if you are active sexually as well. Perhaps she was telling you that her period is due because she would like a rest! Especially if a bit sore. Cystitis can happen from any old germ, most of which live on you but only proliferate if the person is run down or possibly a bit sore. (Cranberry jiuce is good for it. )She could have taken one of those tablets that makes you pee to get rid of the water retention. People with diabetes pee a lot - don't panic, just showing you there are many reasons! She may have drunk a lot. The list is endless so I personally would not be worried about pregnancy right now. More than likely it is just a thing that happened on a day, not a sign of anything. Why don't you ask her. If she thinks she may be pregnant go and get a test from the chemist. Godd luck and no worries.

Another option is she may just have drunk a lot or eaten a lot of food with a high water content. Let us know what ahs happened since.....

I agree with Smeedle, if you have had unprotected sex within the last couple of months then the possibility is there. If she has systitis which is a urinary infection then that is another possibility but she would be in a lot of discomfort with that and generally there is a burning sensation associated with it.
Depends on how much she had to drink in the time you were out as some people cannot hold their fluids as much as others and especially women I would say.
The fact that she has been talking about her period though is a sign that something could be up and I would ask her outright if she thinks she could be pregnant.
How old are you both? Do you want to be a daddy right now?
You can always come back to follow up on this or ask further advice at any time from anyone on this site so whatever the outcome don't feel like you are on your own btw.
