Anyway the girl that did the tanning completely bowled me over. She was like my perfect girl, i mean if i could literally create a girl she is the one i would create right down to a tee. We held eye contact and shared smile's alot. and when she took my hand in her's it felt like pure magic. She said about maybe coming in for another one before Christmas, and i will. I mean for all i know she may have a boyfriend, who know's. Im normally really confident around girls, i mean i work in an office full of woman, but when it comes to someone that i really fancy i go all tongue tied and mess things up. I really want to say something to her, but want some advice on how to go about this. Do you think i should just ask her out, or do some digging around first. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

good for you! its not often that we find our perfect guy/girl, when we go and get a spray tan!!
i would ask her the usual stuff first. she might have a bf but be a bit of a flirt. you dont want to rush straight into things by asking her out. find out some stuff about her first.

Okay, first thing, is do your research. Can you get her name? search her on myspace or facebook see if shes on there- if she is youll at least know if shes single. if theres no info, you can at least get a look at her interests and see if you have anything in common- i fancied my hairdresser until i found his myspace and realised he was into EXACTLY the opposite things as me! big no-no! Similarly, a guy i fancy now- i found his myspace and we have loads in common, which has given me some confidence, and ive kind of casually dropped bits into conversation, which has worked i hope!
Secondly, i'd go back there certainly, and just get to know her a bit, chat. Psychologically, the more time we spend around people the more we like them.
I'd go easy on this one if you really like her- get yout timing right, dont steam in and screw it up- if i talk to a guy and he asks me out like the second time i meet him, its a bit threatening. women still do feel quite vulnerable with agreeing to go out with guys so the more she knows that youre a nice guy, the better she will feel about hanging out with you out of work.
And last point- never underestimate making the effort, women still like romance, things like flowers, compliments, manners and respect- one of the major complaints from my girlfriends is that guys arent like that anymore. So do a bit of research, bide your time, and just be a generally lovely guy. I'm sure youll be fine! let us know ! x

Maybe you should get to know her, see what time the tanner's shut and ask her out to something innocent - a coffee or whatknot - and see what she says, like you say, you don't know anything about her, she might be payed to smile etc. and so it with each male customer , so they come back. You just have to think this "I don't know her, so what have I got to lose - it's not like I work with her, and if worst comes to worst you could always ditch the tan and go gothic instead (But that's only in an emergency.) "
