writes: i met this guy well ive known him for quite some time and i always felt something but chose to ignore it. my friend and i were talking and she thinks i like him and wants to set us up. but im not sure about him if he would want to . i would like to get to know him and if it is something mutual maybe over time things will develop what do you think allow her or tell him myself how i feel? I don't think you should allow your friend to set you up, he could think this is abit immature, like something you would do at school maybe. I think in this day and age it does not look to out of place for a girl to ask a guy out, as it did years ago. If you like him then take the bull by the horns and ask him if he fancies doing something one night, then take it from there.

If you come straight out and tell him how you feel then you might scare him off but then again it might be exactly what's needed. Do YOU think he likes you more than just friends? Why don't you ask him out for a burger or a coffee/drink or even to bowling, ice rink, cinema etc. and see what he says. You could say "as friends" to take any pressure off him but as the "date" progresses (if he chooses to go) then I'm sure you'll know whether or not things are going well.
