Go see you doctor in regards to this matter to confirm if it is best for you.

Did your boyfriend ask you to come off the pill while he is away?

Babes its your choice but as the others have said, you may as well stay on it because your body is used to it now. Unless you are having problems with it, you may as well keep taking it. xXx

If it were me I would stay on the pill, whats the point in messing up your cycle now plus if its the case that you need to start back on it, it can take anythinf from 2 weeks to 3 months for your body to re-adjust to it again.
If you would prefer to use other methods of contraception or regulating your monthlys go visit your GP and discuss what would suit you best: take this link to a website that will give you more info on the many many different methods:
http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/sex_relationships/facts/contraception_which.htm
or
http://www.mjbovo.com/Contracept/
but please consult your GP before trying any of the methods you show interest in as not everything suits everyone...
Take care.

Hi Anon,
Personally, I would stay on the pill because your body is used to the cycle for now and coming off would throw it for a loop. Plus there's no harm in staying on the pill at all and it's better safe than sorry if anything were to happen (not saying that it will).
If you find it annoying to have to take the pill daily, there are other methods that you can switch to without there being a major disruption (the ring, shot, etc). You could talk about it more with your doctor, too.
Take care.
