Putting a time limit on things is just giving yourself an excuse to pressure yourself and your partner into doing something you know in your heart you may regret.I somehow doubt you're going to listen to me, but I hope you will. @CaringGuy: Actually, I think that 18 is the legal age for having sex in UK. Anyway, he won't be a sex offender unless she put some charges against him. @anonymous: If you are sure it's what you want, do it. Take all precautions as he MUST wear a condom and you have to be informed about how condoms works. Don't make it his responsibility only.

 If you feel that you are ready then simply tell him. or you could just make out with him and let him figure it out. let him know you want him to be your first. why do you want it before you turn 16 though? does your age really matter? will it be any different if you are a day past 16 or now? Just make sure you are prepared. have condoms. also realize your first time will hurt.
