 As the anonymous poster said, you cannot predict what will happen therefore we cannot tell you what to expect.
For some girls there is no pain at all, for others it is agony. For some there is blood, for some there is no blood at all.
The best thing to do is have NO expectations, that way you cannot be disappointed.
Ensure you are going to be having sex in a comfortable place where there is no chance of interuptions. Make sure you have condoms (more than 1 just in case) and that you have been on birth control for at least 2 weeks. The fear of pregnancy can make your first time very uncomfortable. Make sure you are very relaxed and turned on when you get close to actually having sex, and have some lube on stand by if you cannot get wet enough naturally (it can happen on your first time that you are so nervous you dont get wet therefore it is very painful, so lube is definitely needed).
Let him do all of the work, and he should take it slowly. If you are in a lot of pain ask him to stop, dont suffer in silence. Him on top is generally the best position as it is not to deep and requires him to do the majority of the work, all you have to do is lay back and try and relax.
Aside from that there is not a lot else you can do, as long as you take it slow and relax you should be fine. Remember sex should be fun and enjoyable, and even if it does hurt a bit at first the pain subsides after a minute or two and you will start to enjoy it.
