1) Some sort of completely harmless innocent explanation, along the lines already indicated by the posters below. All three of these scenarios are perfectly plausible.
2) The spunk initially belonged to another man before finding its way to the back of your boyfriend's underwear. If you have no other grounds for suspecting he's gay and you've been living together for a long while, I would say it's profoundly unlikely.
