What advice would you have for massaging?

Can the receiver be clothed? How should the one giving the massage be dressed? Can clothing be removed as part of the massage? If so, how?

Where on the body should be touched by the giver? Are there some places that are most enjoyable to be touched?

Can kissing be involved in a senious massage? If so, how?

Where are some places to are good for giving and receiving a massage?

What can be done after a massage? Is sex a good activity for after a massage?

A male reader, JTalbott United States +, writes (24 May 2008):

JTalbott agony auntThere is massage and then there is foreplay. Each are fun, one is relaxing and the other is stimulating.

I love them both!

However, it's best for me if I'm clear about what is the purpose of the massage. It is difficult to relax and enjoy a massage when I'm tense wondering if it will turn into foreplay and have a happy ending.

A female reader, DrPsych United Kingdom +, writes (27 November 2007):

DrPsych agony auntLots of people give and receive massages within relationships - clothed and unclothed. If you are interested in techniques then get a 'how to..' book. It seems from your post that you are hoping massage would lead to something sexual - that is ok with two consenting adults but it might be a good idea to talk with the potential partner before hand. They may feel a bit upset with you if you offer a massage and then try to turn it into something they weren;t expecting.
