Questioning my partners use of the company mobile

A female age 51-59, *nowlady writes:

my partner recently went on a business trip. He uses a company mobile phone and when I ring it the ring is a british telephone ring. I have also rang his own mobile phone and that ring is the same as abroad. I confronted him about it and he said the company phone doesn't have a ring like when your abroad and doesn't know why. Do you know if this is true or not or is he making a fool of me and going somewhere else.
