 for a shy guy, obviously he would like you to make the first move. then he'd pick up. if he's got no problem with girls then i don't think it matters who makes the first move

reader, anonymous, writes (6 January 2010): you walk a fine line... we want to know that the girl is willing and able, but for her not to jump us, ride us like a horse and jump off... that can lead us to believe that she's a bit of a hard core slut. Find a middle ground, figure out how to give him the green light, tell him to go slow and be gentle both of you enjoy it.
What a guy will LOVE is a girl teaching him how to give pleasure. Talk, guide and explain... but to share the knowledge you need to understand your own body.

If he wants you and is comfortable with what you're initiating, then he'll probably LOVE IT when you initiate it.
But if he doesn't want to go there, then he may be surprisingly uncomfortable with it if you make the first move. Some guys are worse than others but this is a possibility.

Just make sure you both want to, whether it's first kiss, oral sex, sex, whatever lol, just make sure you're both comfortable and ready. Making eye contact helps cause if you both want to it's sort of like saying it, without actually having to say it. But now that I'm comfortable sexuall with my gf, i don't really pay attention to who goes 1st. So yeah, basically just make sure you're both comfortable.

 I would have to say that it is really hot when the girl makes the first move. That way the guy knows your interested which is important if you are pursuing a shy guy.
