I know that everyone has a different personality and of course that would dictate what they would tell their friends about their privage moments with their significant other but do girls generally tell their friends everything? reader, anonymous, writes (31 July 2009): I used to talk about all the gory details with my friends in my 20's, but not so much in my 30's! If you're in a long term relationship, the girls don't usually talk about sex...it's just when it's new.

I know some women who have no problems talking about what they've done and with who'm, where and when,
And others who would rather talk about the weather for two hours than about sex for ten mins.

I don't share details with anyone else. It's between me and him. I will talk about sex in a general way, not with specifics.
When I was younger, hm, nope, I didn't do it then either. It's really not fair to broadcast someone's intimate details without their knowledge and consent. For me, it kinda violates one of the fundamental rules of conduct, the "do unto others" one.

My friend she likes to tell me the in's and outs of her relationships clearly.
I prefer to walk the middle ground, sometime i do divuldge sometimes i do not!
generally i think most women do mention something to their friends at one time or another.

Toys movies and so forth. Do I go and state personal details no. Have I had a moment where I was like what? yeah and then I consulted them if I was unsure

 When I was younger, yes me and my girl friends would talk about EVERYTHING. Now that I'm older and married we have other topics on the top of the list :)
I have some friends who still like to share and that doesn't bother me, they also know that I don't go into details about my sex life. If something is wrong with my sex life it will be between me and my husband to talk/figure that out.

 Some women talk a lot with their mates about sex, some don't. I, personally, tell my best friend pretty much everything about my love life, including sex. It's always assumed that she won't tell others what I tell her, and I do trust her to keep a confidence. I wouldn't worry too much about it, my friend. Most women are fairly circumspect about their sex lives. I'm just a bit more talkative than some that I know.
