I know the majority of guys like it all the way shaved, but I can never manage to get it completely smooth on the top part without getting bumps and redness. So, my question is, do you think it's still attractive if the lower part (lips) are completely smooth, but just the higher half of the pubic area is just a tiny bit stubbly? Be honest, and thanks. :) Reply to this Question Share |

Slow down! There are many, many, many of us who prefer things to be more natural down below. Trim it if you'd like, but the "bald crotch" look is unattractive to put it mildly. As are bumps and redness and stubble... Why subject yourself to all that inconvenience and irritation? There is no reason to remove your pubic hair. It's a ridiculous marketing trend.

Why don't you wax it? It will hurt but you get used to...the hair takes longer to grow (about 3-4 weeks) and the hair will come back thinner (hair will lesser) over time...your skin will feel smoother too.

I wish I could remember where I heard that so I could attribute it correctly!
Having said that, I agree with SensibleSam that keeping it neat & trimmed is thoughtful for your guy, but beyond that you should do what makes you comfortable.

OP: I have a question - I'm the opposite where I can keep the "mound" smooth but can't figure out how to shave around the lips. I don't want to go to a waxer (way too much money!), so what's your secret? How do you keep that part smooth? I'm afraid of cutting something down there.

CG, most of the time you are spot on with your answers, but in this case I have to disagree (slightly) with you. It's not "small-minded" to prefer your partner to be hairless: when indulging in full-on sucking and licking to pleasure her it helps avoid a mouthfull of hair if she has cleared the pathway!

It's not a problem. Don't worry about it. It takes a very small minded man to be bothered by something as insignificant as this.

You shouldn't shave your pubic hair just because guys like it, you should be doing it because you want to do it for you not because you think it'd be better for men. I know a lot of ment hat atually prefer a woman to have a bush (not totally wild) but trimmed and kept neat. If you are getting bumps and redness then maybe you should try hair removing cream therefore your not damaging the hair follicles. I personally shave the lower part and then leave the rest so its all neat and trimmed and the reason I do this is for hygiene reasons ( not for a man)!!!! Hope it helps xx
