writes:okay, im 14 and i already have a bunch (not a whole freakin forest) of pubic hair. it kinda worries me for 3 reasons, one im scared when i start having sex guys will see it and be disgusted by it, two because i do not know what to do with it, and three, i have it in places i dont think other people do, it starts from my front (where it normally is for any girl) then on both side on the bottom (flaps and whatnot) then ends toward my butt cheeks, is it suppose to be in those places? or am i just weird??so my questions are:are guys disgusted by pub hair on a girl right before sex?i dont wanna shave or wax it off, because shave causes stubble and wax hurts, so what else can i do??where is pub hair suppose to be?

reader, anonymous, writes (26 February 2010): as said before- if a guy really loves you he won't be put off your pubic hair- i would say that if you are worried about a guy not liking it, it is safest to get rid of it. I don't think there are any guys who would really "complain" about lack of pubes as there are who would complain about you having them.

Many men actually like public hair and after all it is as nature intended you to be. Pubic hair can be trimmed using a razor or waxing.
If your boyfriend/friend likes you he won't be easily put off by a bushy bush. I've seen lots and a lot of hair or a little is nice!

I went to boarding school so I know that all women have hair as you described (all over and even the upper thighs) Men too. The best way to deal with it is to shave it with a electric shaver (like those cheap $5 battery operated ones in Walmart). When you get older you can wax it if you like. Different men like different things; I once did an online survey about 2 years ago and 40% of guys said they liked it shaved, 10% liked hairy and the other 50% said they didn't care either way. So don't worry about it.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 February 2010): I'm 24 and my pubic hair is like that too - i've not known many women who don't have it covering most of their area (and butt area-ish too) unless shaven or waxed. Myself i don't wax or shave however pubic hair is like the hair on your head, it grows, therefore i trim my pubic hair. I have never thus far met a guy put off by my pubic hair and if i ever do then he is not worth my attention. You are supposed to have hair - tis a sign of womanhood. I remember at your age being happy to have hair so try not to stress and embrace your body for what it is ... actually i am still quite happy to have hair, makes me feel grownup etc.

Dont get confused with what you see on porn starts... Thats not normal pubic hair.
My personal prefrance, is none atall.... But thats just mo, not every bloke out there.
However it is normal for women to atleast keep the bikini line in order.... after all you wouldnt want it sticking out the side while your swimming would you??
