I've been having cramps off and on for a month now- sometimes just a mild cramp and sometimes to the point where I'm doubled over in pain and have missed 2 periods- after the first one was missed I had a blood pregnancy test done and it was negative. Not sure what's going on.

Time to see the GYN... bring a copy of the blood work with you if he/she did not perform the test.
I have a friend who was nearly 4 months pregnant before she found out.. she did not miss a period before she found out she was pregnant.

Time to see your doctor, there are several things that can cause those symptoms and only a doctor can tell you what and help.

Definitely see a doctor!! Also, I highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility"

You need to see your doctor in order to find out whats wrong. Missing your period happens for many reasons other than pregnancy. It could be something harmless, but it could also be serious. So see your soctor and take care of your health.

Have you been on the pill?
I know my friend who was on birth control for a few years and decided to go off for a year had terrible trouble she didnt receive a period for over 7 months and constantly thought she was pregnant even though her doctor told her it was normal ! Maybe you should make an appointment with your gynaecologist to check everything up there is ok !!

Have you been to your doctor or a GYN?
If not, that should be your next step, it's impossible for anyone here to diagnose you. (not that we should anyways).
I suggest you go and get checked out, possibly have an ultrasound. It can be cysts in your ovaries which can burst - it can cause excruciating pain and cause internal bleeding. If you have never missed a period before I would say it's even more important that you go, because it's so out of the norm.
Off to the GYN/Doctor.!
