A female United States age 36-40, *andygurl writes:

I am 7mths pregnant and noticing I can't sleep at all at night and when I do I wake up with severe leg cramps. Now I'm noticing I'm getting them throught out the day too. I have pain in my butt and pain in my back. My doctor said its the baby sitting on a nerve. I tried doing streching execises, drinking lots of water, even started taking calium pills. None of those things are helping me. My headaches are starting to come back every position from sleeping to just sitting in a chair is uncomfortable. All this is really making me worry and believe things will even be harder when its time to deliver. What to do or take to relieve my pains and worries. Oh yea this will be my 1st baby girl :~)

LLindy87 agony aunthave you asked your doctor any home remedies that may help?

Avoid standing or sitting with your legs crossed for long periods of time, Stretch your calf muscles regularly during the day and several times before you go to bed, Rotate your ankles and wiggle your toes when you sit, eat dinner, or watch TV, Take a walk every day, unless your midwife or doctor has advised you not to exercise, Avoid getting too tired. Lie down on your left side to improve circulation to and from your legs, Stay hydrated during the day by drinking water regularly, Try a warm bath before bed to relax your muscles.

good luck, i hope your cramps stop
