reader, anonymous, writes (27 May 2009): I had the brown stuff problem a while back and i went to er. my cervix was very red. they sent me straight to my gyn and they did some testing and it was that i had a cyst that had ruptured and for some reason i had bled alot but it didn't escape. what ever that is. so they had to go in and clean out everything. they also said they were glad that i hadn't waited because it was still bleeding a little. don't know how they fixed that i was sleep.

 no i think your ok, i think that its just normal discharge after the period. you know when when dried blood looks dark in color. thats the same thing extra discharge after your period. if its really after about a week or two see a dr asap. but if uy greatly concerns you see one now, hell you could just call your ob and ask a nurse, that way if they think its serious you can make an appointment, if they say its normal then you saved a trip, goodluck

Why would it be any different risk wise to have sex in a hot tub than anywhere else?
Anyway.. that doens't sound good. Go to a doctor ASAP. Your gyno would be a good choice.

Hot tub sex you are more likely to get stds or infection! It can cause a lot of problems internally! As far as the brown smelly blood! It could be blood left behind... Old blood! But it could mean different things. I agree with army medic go to the er or contact your gyno and get in there ASAP!

 The dangers of unprotected sex in a hot tub(or anywhere else) are; STIs, Pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy and death caused by internal bleeding!
Oh and the brown slimy stuff could be the signs of an abortion or ectopic pregnancy! Go to the ER/ED right now!
Any unexplained bleeding (brown slime) needs to be checked out by a doctor as soon as possible.
